This traditional 'C' Shaped Italian style Fire Steel has been hand crafted and hand forged in the USA by a traditional Blacksmith and has been designed by us at Shark Designs.
This hand-forged traditional styled 'Classic large C ' steel striker is used for traditional ‘Flint & Steel’ fire making. Used with Amadou tinder fungus or Char Cloth, the sparks created from this top quality steel striker will easily form an ember that can be used to ignite a tinder bundle. Each fire steel has a hand made, hand forged look, which makes these particular fire steels very appealing and they have a very rustic and honest feel about them. Each fire steel measures approximately 77 mm x 45 mm, but each steel may vary slightly due to being hand forged. Its an ideal size for keeping in a Tinderbox or a Tinder Pouch.
